JNTUK Central Zone Men’s Cricket Tournament Begins
A big cricket tournament for men's teams from colleges in the JNTU Kakinada zone started at St Ann’s College in Chirala.
The local MLA, Madduluri Malakondaiah, opened the event.
He said he would support sports and told the players to keep trying even if they lose.
The first match was between two engineering colleges: VKR & VNR from Gudivada and Prakasam from Kandukur.
Prakasam scored 83 runs, but VKR & VNR won by two wickets.
