Odisha DGP Tightens Security for President Murmu’s Visit
President Droupadi Murmu is visiting Odisha for three days, starting on August 3.
The state’s top police officer, Y B Khurania, made sure all security plans are ready.
They will use special rules called the Blue Book to keep everyone safe.
The President will travel by plane, train, and car, visiting a university and a temple.
Extra checks, drones, and patrols will protect the route and places she visits.

Senior officers were designated as nodal points to ensure seamless coordination across departments during the visit.
The train leg was scheduled to avoid rain, following the India Meteorological Department’s forecast.
