NDA Staffer's Suicide Linked to Fake Recruitment Racket
A man named Mayur Pawar, who worked at the National Defence Academy (NDA), died by suicide.
The police found out that he was involved with a friend, Swapnil Gaikwad, who was part of a fake job scam.
Gaikwad promised jobs in the Railways to people, took their money, but didn't give them the jobs.
One of the victims, Dinesh Rathod, paid a lot of money but didn't get the job.
The police are now investigating and have arrested Gaikwad.
They are also looking for another man named Sagar Patil, who is also involved in the scam.
Mayur Pawar, a civilian employee at NDA, was found dead on January 8, 2024, allegedly by suicide.
Swapnil Gaikwad, a former NDA staffer, was arrested for his involvement in a fake recruitment racket.
Gaikwad and Sagar Patil allegedly cheated people by promising government jobs in exchange for money.
Dinesh Rathod, a victim, paid Rs 19.15 lakh but did not receive the promised job.
