A group named H1BScope looked at official government records to find out how much these workers are paid.

The records are called Labour Condition Applications.

Companies must send these records to the US Department of Labour.

H1BScope found seven companies that pay their H-1B workers very well.

At these companies, the middle salary is at least $198,000.

Some companies pay more than $250,000 as their middle salary.

These workers have special skills in areas like technology, healthcare, and finance.

Companies compete hard to hire them, which pushes salaries up.
