JJP meets governors, urges action on Haryana water crisis · The Times of India

The water dispute between Haryana and Punjab continues.

Punjab's water minister is at the Nangal dam, watching to ensure that too much water isn't sent to Haryana.

Haryana wants more water, but Punjab says their needs are met and their infrastructure cannot safely handle the amount Haryana is requesting.

Punjab has been providing water already, and the Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) had previously decided on a water release plan that Punjab prevented from being carried out.
