Engineers India Wins $450 Million Contract for Kenyan Refinery
Engineers India Limited has won a large contract connected to a new refinery in Kenya.
The refinery is being planned by Dangote Group.
It is expected to process 700,000 barrels of oil each day.
Engineers India will help manage the project and provide technical advice.
The company previously worked on Dangote’s large refinery in Nigeria.

The greenfield facility is planned to have refining capacity of 700,000 barrels per day.
The deal follows Engineers India’s work on Dangote’s 650,000-barrel-per-day refinery in Nigeria and its expansion to 1.4 million barrels per day.
The project aims to reduce East Africa’s dependence on imported refined fuel, but no completion or startup timeline was disclosed.
