Jammu and Kashmir held its third National Lok Adalat of the year.

It took place across the Union Territory on September 12.

Judges and legal officials worked through thousands of cases.

They considered 32,908 cases in total.

Of these, 23,213 were settled or disposed of.

The agreements involved more than Rs 176 crore in settlements and compensation.

The cases included road accident claims, family disputes, unpaid bills and cheque disputes.
