Pune Crime Branch Raids Houz Commune Bar at 3 AM
Early on Sunday morning, police officers in Pune, a city in India, visited a place called The Houz Commune, a bar where adults eat, listen to music, and dance.
It was very late — around 3 o'clock in the morning.
The police found lots of people inside having a party.
In Pune, bars are supposed to close by 1:30 in the morning, but this bar was still open about an hour and a half after that time.
That is against the rules.
The police asked the people at the party some questions.
They are now investigating the people who run the bar.
The police also want to check that the bar had the right permissions to serve drinks.
The raid made many people in Pune talk about how the city controls late-night partying.

Nearly 80 to 100 people were found partying inside, with a DJ playing music.
Pubs and clubs in Pune are permitted to remain open only until 1:30 am; the party continued nearly 90 minutes after the deadline.
Police took the people present into custody for questioning and are registering a case against the pub's operator and manager.
Officials are checking whether the pub held all required licences and permissions, including for the sale and serving of alcohol.
