Lalithaa, Shankesh, Sunshine IPOs Aim to Raise Rs 2349 Crore
An IPO is when a company sells tiny pieces of itself, called shares, so that people can invest in it.
Three Indian companies are doing this in the same week.
Lalithaa Jewellery Mart sells jewellery from 61 shops across southern India.
It wants to raise Rs 1700 crore to open 20 new stores in Tamil Nadu.
Shankesh Jewellers makes handcrafted jewellery for other big brands.
It wants to raise Rs 367 crore to pay back money it owes.
Sunshine Pictures makes movies, TV serials and web series, and it is owned by filmmaker Vipul Shah.
It wants to raise Rs 282 crore to run its daily business.
In total, the three companies hope to collect Rs 2349 crore from people who buy their shares.
Buyers pay the price the company sets within a fixed range and the shares then belong to them.
Lalithaa Jewellery Mart will launch a Rs 1700 crore IPO from August 17-19 in the Rs 190-201 price band.
Mumbai-based Shankesh Jewellers announced a Rs 367 crore IPO at Rs 88-93 per share, open August 18-20, 2026.
Vipul Shah-owned Sunshine Pictures announced a Rs 282 crore IPO at Rs 342-360 per share, open August 18-20, 2026.
Together, the three initial public offerings aim to raise Rs 2349 crore next week.
Funds will open 20 new Lalithaa stores in Tamil Nadu, repay Rs 158 crore of Shankesh debt, and cover working capital needs for all three.
