Dwaraka Junction to reopen for Nashik-Dhule traffic by August 31
In the city of Nashik, there is a busy crossing called Dwaraka Junction where lots of cars and buses pass through.
The road there was being fixed, so it had to be closed to traffic heading toward Dhule.
People driving that way had to find other routes.
City officials promised the junction will open again by August 31.
On Monday, three important officials visited the area to check the progress of the work.
They also looked at two other places, Mumbai Naka and Trimbak Road.
They told the workers to hurry and gave them deadlines to finish each stretch.
One road near Mumbai Naka must be cleared on one side before the festival of Navratri.
The officials also asked workers to fill potholes so that driving is safe and smooth.
More traffic helpers, called wardens, will be sent to the area to help drivers and reduce jams.
Dwaraka Junction in Nashik will reopen for Nashik-Dhule-bound traffic by August 31.
Officials directed MSIDC to expedite work and restore traffic movement at the junction.
