Mumbai Local Train Mega Blocks Disrupt Key Routes Sunday
Railway workers will do maintenance on several Mumbai train routes on Sunday, October 4.
Because of this work, some trains will be cancelled or take a different track.
On the Main Line, slow trains will use fast tracks and stop at several stations.
Some trains between Panvel and Vashi, and between Panvel and Thane, will not run during set times.
Special trains will run between CSMT and Vashi, and some other nearby services will remain available.
Western Railway will also work between Borivali and Ram Mandir from 10 am to 2 pm.
Some trains there will be diverted or cancelled.
Passengers are advised to check schedules and plan ahead.
Central Railway will block Main Line slow tracks between CSMT and Vidyavihar from 10:55 am to 3:55 pm.
Main Line slow trains will use fast tracks and make specified intermediate stops during the work.
Panvel–Vashi Harbour Line services will be restricted from 11:05 am to 4:05 pm, with several trains cancelled.
Panvel–Thane Trans-Harbour services will be cancelled in specified windows; special CSMT–Vashi trains will operate.
Western Railway will run a 10 am–2 pm maintenance block between Borivali and Ram Mandir, diverting some trains and cancelling others.
