Kasara Railway Block to Disrupt 39 Trains From October 7
Central Railway will temporarily block some railway tracks near Kasara.
The work is planned from October 7 to October 18.
It will help build a third railway line between Asangaon and Kasara.
Workers will also expand the railway yard at Kasara.
Local trains between Asangaon and Kasara will not run during the affected periods.
Some trains from CSMT will stop early at Asangaon.
Several long-distance trains will be held at Igatpuri or leave at different times.
Passengers have been asked to check the official timetable and plan another way to travel if needed.
Central Railway will conduct a special 12-day traffic and power block from October 7 to 18.
The work will support the Asangaon-Kasara third railway line and expansion of Kasara’s Up yard line.
Suburban services between Asangaon and Kasara will be suspended during the block periods.
Several CSMT-Kasara local trains will be short-terminated at Asangaon.
Mail and express trains, including Pushpak and Dnyaneshwari Express, will face regulation or revised departure times.
