Cyberabad Municipal Corporation Intensifies Drive Against Unauthorised Constructions
The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation is checking buildings in its area.
It is looking for structures built without the required permissions.
In one Wednesday update, officials said they demolished 25 structures, identified 21 more cases and issued four notices.
A separate report said 185 structures had been demolished during an 11-day campaign from August 24 to September 3, 2026.
Officials said 31 demolitions took place on the campaign’s Thursday.
Serilingampally had the most demolitions during the first 10 days.
The corporation says the action is meant to enforce building rules and safety standards.
Inspections and enforcement will continue in the three zones.
CMC reported 25 demolitions and four notices on Wednesday, while identifying 21 unauthorised constructions for further action.
A separate cumulative report recorded 185 demolitions across three zones between August 24 and September 3, 2026.
The cumulative report said 31 structures were demolished on Thursday, with 12 each in Serilingampally and Quthbullapur and seven in Kukatpally.
Across the campaign’s initial 10 days, Serilingampally recorded 69 demolitions, Quthbullapur 52 and Kukatpally 33.
CMC said inspections and enforcement are continuing to address violations of building permissions, regulations and safety standards.
