Telangana: CMC Demolishes 17 Illegal Structures; 54 More Flagged · deccanchronicle.com

The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation is checking buildings that may have been built without permission.

The action began after an unauthorised building collapsed in Gachibowli and two people died.

On Monday, officials found 38 buildings for possible action.

They demolished nine, seized one and sent notices to 28 others.

On Tuesday, they demolished 17 more buildings and identified 54 additional structures for investigation.

The rules limit buildings on small plots to seven metres in height.
