VDG member killed, another injured in firing in J&K's Udhampur
Some grown-ups who help keep their village safe were walking to their police post.
They got into an argument with one of their friends.
That friend got very angry and shot at them with a gun.
One of the helpers, Baldev Singh, sadly passed away.
Another helper, Romesh Singh, was badly hurt and taken to the hospital.
The friend who did the shooting ran away from the place.
Police officers rushed to the spot very quickly after getting the news.
They are still looking for the person who ran away.
No one yet knows exactly why the argument started.

One Village Defence Guard (VDG) member was killed and another critically injured in a firing incident in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir.
The accused, fellow VDG member Surjeet Singh, a resident of Sasri Damnot, allegedly opened fire on his colleagues after a scuffle.
