Jaipur and Udaipur Hotels Enter World's Best 2026 List
Two luxury hotels in India have been included in a list of the world’s best hotels for 2026.
The Johri is in Jaipur, and The Oberoi Udaivilas is in Udaipur.
The Johri was ranked 94th, while The Oberoi Udaivilas was ranked 98th.
Both hotels are in Rajasthan.
The Oberoi Udaivilas appeared on the list for the first time.
The Johri is a small hotel with five suites inside a restored mansion.
The Oberoi Udaivilas is a large palace-style hotel beside Lake Pichola.
The final top-50 hotels will be revealed in Paris on September 15.
The Johri in Jaipur ranked No. 94 in The World's 50 Best Hotels’ 2026 extended list.
The Oberoi Udaivilas in Udaipur ranked No. 98 and made its debut on the ranking.
Both Indian entries come from Rajasthan, which is among Asia’s 20 represented properties in the 51-100 list.
The rankings draw on votes from more than 800 hoteliers, travel journalists, and experienced travellers.
The main top-50 rankings will be announced at an awards ceremony in Paris on September 15.
