Chhattisgarh couple hacked to death; bodies stuffed in sacks
A sad thing happened in a village in India called Parsapara, which is in a state called Chhattisgarh.
A mom and dad were found hurt very badly and they did not survive.
Their names were Hiradhar Yadav and Gulabi Yadav.
Someone wrapped their bodies in big bags called sacks and hid them in a locked room in their own house.
Their other son, Mohan, found them when he went to get milk.
He noticed the doors were locked and looked for his family.
When he finally opened the locked room, he found the sacks and called the police.
The police think the couple's older son, Jadu Yadav, might have done this.
Jadu is missing, and his brother says he was not well in his mind.
The police are looking for him and are still trying to find out exactly what happened.
Hiradhar Yadav (55) and his wife Gulabi Yadav (52) were found hacked to death in Parsapara village, Chhattisgarh's Surguja district.
The couple's bodies were tied inside blood-soaked sacks and locked in a room in their house.
Their younger son Mohan discovered the bodies on Monday after going to the house to collect milk and breaking into the locked room.
Police suspect the couple's missing elder son, Jadu Yadav (34), who lived with them, may have killed them and attempted to conceal the bodies.
Mohan told police that Jadu was unmarried and mentally unstable; the bodies bore deep gashes from a sharp-edged weapon like an axe and were sent for post-mortem.
