Indian Sugar Prices Fall Further as Mills Struggle to Sell

The government allocated 13 lakh tonnes for domestic sale in the first half of September and diverted export sugar to local markets.
Global sugar prices rose, reaching 18.26 cents a pound in New York and $528 a tonne for white sugar in London.
