Delhi HC Protects PhysicsWallah Founder Alakh Pandey's Personality Rights
Alakh Pandey is a famous teacher who runs a learning company called PhysicsWallah.
Some people online used his face, voice, and teaching style without asking him.
They made fake accounts, stickers, and videos, and some of that content was rude or indecent while other content was used to make money.
Alakh asked a court for help.
A judge at the Delhi High Court named Anup Jairam Bhambhani agreed to protect him.
The judge ordered that bad content be removed and asked Google, X, and Telegram to share information about the accounts responsible.
However, the judge also said people can still make jokes or criticise him, so the protection does not block free speech.
The court will hear the case again in November.
