Study links cyberbullying with in-person school violence
The study found that cyberbullying often continues conflicts that already happen at school.
About 6% of the students were both targets and perpetrators of aggression across different settings.
This group was more likely to have significant psychological symptoms and to use alcohol or cigarettes.
The findings suggest schools should connect bullying prevention with mental health and substance-use support.
