Composer and guest judge Lucian Piane has died at 46.

He was known for his work on “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” where he wrote music, helped contestants and appeared as a guest judge.

Piane was struck by a vehicle in Glendale, California, on Oct.

12.

Firefighters and paramedics treated an adult pedestrian at the scene, but the person died there.

Glendale police said the pedestrian was walking in the road at an intersection; officers found no evidence of impaired driving, speeding or a driver running a red light, and believe the collision was an accident.

Piane helped shape the show’s music and RuPaul’s songs.

His work also included music for films and television, and collaborations with artists including Sia.

His death ends a career across television, film and music.

Police are investigating, and authorities have not announced further steps.
