Missing 79-year-old woman from Wirges found safe

A 79-year-old woman from Wirges was found safe on Tuesday after being reported missing.

She had left the senior home where she lives on Monday afternoon.

Her destination was unclear, though she had said she wanted to visit her daughter and did not arrive there.

Police said they were concerned she might be in a situation where she could not get help, so they sought public assistance.
