Yavuz Ağıralioğlu criticizes Erdoğan and calls for an election

Yavuz Ağıralioğlu, leader of Turkey’s Anahtar Party, spoke at a public gathering in Uşak.

He criticized President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, saying the president had lost touch with people and failed to deliver on past promises.

Ağıralioğlu pointed to rising living costs and poverty, and said many people were struggling to get by.

He also argued that politicians switching to Erdoğan’s party does not change voters’ choices or solve economic problems.

Ağıralioğlu called for an election, recalling that Erdoğan had previously presented elections as a way to address national problems.

He also called for accountability over alleged losses involving funds and the stock market, including a claim that 18.5 billion dollars had been lost through fraud.

The speech presented Ağıralioğlu’s criticism and allegations; it did not say whether Erdoğan or other officials responded.
