NFL fines Quinn Meinerz $15,000 for posting drug-test notice

Denver Broncos offensive lineman Quinn Meinerz was fined $15,000 by the NFL for posting a drug-test notice on social media.

The notice came after Denver’s Week 3 win over the Los Angeles Rams, in which Meinerz faced defensive tackle Aaron Donald.

The test was for performance-enhancing drugs.

NFL rules prohibit players from sharing testing notifications or other material from the sample-collection process.

The policy sets a $15,000 fine for a violation.

Meinerz is appealing the punishment.

The appeal will determine whether the fine stands.
