Meta launches new AI models, with faster development planned
Meta has launched its top AI models, called Muse Wonder and Muse Wonderful.
CEO Mark Zuckerberg said they can support more advanced AI work, after substantial computing investment and research.
He said Meta is already working on the next stage and expects model development to speed up.
Zuckerberg said he believes AI can be controlled with safeguards, rather than acting on its own.
He also acknowledged that AI models still lack the common sense needed to be ideal personal assistants.
Meta plans to release Muse Confidential VM, which is intended to prevent the company from accessing users’ data and conversations with AI agents.
Zuckerberg said he expects companies to do more work with potentially fewer employees, while more people use technology to create things.
