Gundam Battle Operation 3 announced for PS5 and Steam
Gundam Battle Operation 3 has been announced for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam, with a free-to-play model.
The team-based action game will support cross-play between the two platforms.
It will feature mobile suits from the Gundam SEED series as well as from the Universal Century, the franchise’s main timeline.
Every mobile suit will have a special battle skill, a change from the previous game, where only some had one.
Battle Operation 2 will not run at the same time as the new game, though it will continue receiving new suits and campaigns for now.
Suits and in-game assets earned in Battle Operation 2 cannot be transferred, but the developers are considering play-history rewards such as outfits or titles.
A network test is scheduled for November 20 and 22, 2026, while the release date remains undecided.
