Gunsan Seeks Operators for Seven Seafood Center Shops

The city of Gunsan in South Korea is seeking operators for seven seafood center shops.

The openings include spaces for dried seafood, live and fresh fish, and three seafood restaurants.

Applicants must be at least 20 and registered residents of Gunsan as of October 28.

Successful applicants can operate their shops for three years, with one possible extension.

They must apply in person at the first-floor office of the Seafood Specialization Complex from November 4 to 6, submitting an application, business plan and tax payment certificates.

The city will choose operators and shop locations through document review and a public lottery, giving local applicants a chance to run businesses in the city’s seafood market.
