Raye performs with her grandparents at Royal Albert Hall after Mercury Prize win

Raye performed with her grandparents at London's Royal Albert Hall during her sold-out show on Friday.

The performance came a day after she won the 2026 Mercury Prize for her album, *This Music May Contain Hope*.

Her grandmother, Agatha Dawson-Amoah, joined her for the spoken line in Raye's hit song “Where Is My Husband?”

Raye's grandfather also joined her onstage for “Life Boat,” a song about resilience and holding onto hope during difficult times.

Raye told the audience that “hope is family” and brought several other relatives onstage, including her sisters.

She also spoke about being honest about mental health and life's difficult moments in her music.

You know what's so beautiful to me - hope is family - so it just made so much sense to have my family all over this album.
