‘Hannibal Inside’ Series Follows an Amnesiac Surgeon’s Organ-Trafficking Past

Hannibal Inside is a crime thriller series in development about Owen, an amnesiac chef working at a fishing port in Keelung, Taiwan.

Two years after a car crash erased his memory, he discovers he was the chief surgeon for an organ-trafficking syndicate called Undercurrent.

The group sells organs to wealthy buyers, and Owen’s former associates pursue him after an online video reveals he is alive.

A detective suspects Owen in murders involving removed organs, while an assassin tries to bring back his memories.

After his girlfriend Xi-xi is killed, Owen travels to Songkhla, Thailand, seeking revenge.

The story leads to a luxury cruise ship where billionaires bid on people based on organ matches, raising questions about who gets to live and who decides a life’s worth.

The series is still in pre-development, with episode outlines complete and scripts being written; its team is presenting it at a Taipei industry event to seek investors, streamers and partners.
