Jemimah Rodrigues declares herself fit after hamstring rehabilitation
India batter Jemimah Rodrigues says she is fit to play again after three months of rehabilitation for a hamstring injury.
She hurt her right hamstring on August 3 while playing for Southern Brave in England's The Hundred.
The injury kept her out of the Asia Cup, Asian Games and Zimbabwe series, leaving India without her for several recent assignments.
Her recovery was announced on the first anniversary of her unbeaten 127 against Australia in the 2025 Women's ODI World Cup semi-final, which helped India reach the final and win the title.
Rodrigues could return through Mumbai's Senior Women's T20 Trophy before selectors choose India's squad for the South Africa tour.
India's December tour includes a Test, three ODIs and three T20Is, giving Rodrigues a chance to rejoin the team for a demanding overseas series.
