Kanpur Organisers Seek Rs 1.20 Crore From Anjali Arora

Kanpur event organisers have sent a legal notice to influencer and actress Anjali Arora and her manager, Preeti Dubey.

They seek Rs 1.20 crore in compensation and a public apology within 15 days.

The dispute follows an event where Arora reportedly left the stage early after the DJ played “Kacha Badam,” a song associated with her rise to fame.

Organisers say she was expected to stay on stage for 45 minutes and present mementoes to sponsors and special guests.

They seek Rs 1 crore for alleged defamation and Rs 20 lakh for claimed financial losses.

The notice is a demand, not a court ruling, and Arora has not publicly responded to it.

The organisers allege her early exit offended guests and harmed the event, but no further action is described.
