Unverified private chat and photo of cricketer Gurnoor Brar go viral

An alleged Snapchat chat and shirtless photo of Indian cricketer Gurnoor Brar are circulating online.

The posts claim the chat belongs to Brar, but its authenticity has not been verified.

Some users point to a necklace in the photo as evidence, but a matching necklace cannot prove who is pictured.

Brar is a fast bowler who plays for India and Punjab.

He made his India debut against Afghanistan in June and has taken 14 wickets in nine one-day internationals, according to the reports.

He has been included in India's squad for the final two one-day matches on its New Zealand tour.

The online claims remain unconfirmed, and the coverage gives no further update on whether they will be verified.
