Storm Boelo set to bring more wind and rain to the UK
Storm Boelo is expected to hit parts of the UK this weekend, following Storm Austen, which brought powerful winds and heavy rain on Friday.
An amber wind warning covers much of Scotland and parts of Northern Ireland and northern England, with exposed areas facing gusts of up to 80mph.
Thousands of homes remain without power after Austen, although engineers have restored electricity to more than 60,000 properties.
Heavy rain has also caused flooding in Shetland, while fallen trees and damage disrupted roads and railways.
Strong winds could bring travel disruption, further power cuts and local flooding, and flying debris could cause injuries.
Rail services will be cancelled or restricted in some areas, and officials have advised people to check conditions and avoid unnecessary journeys.
Rain should ease in most areas on Sunday, but another area of low pressure could bring more wet and windy weather on Monday and Tuesday.

What people are saying
It was probably the heaviest rain I have ever seen in Shetland in my life.
Flying debris is likely and could lead to injuries or danger to life.
But when we’re facing weather of this scale, we have to put safety first and make sensible calls before conditions deteriorate.
Our advice is to plan ahead and consider if your journey is really necessary or if it can be delayed until conditions improve.
