Buckingham Palace to display more than 300 royal jewels in 2027

Buckingham Palace will host an exhibition of more than 300 royal jewels from June 25, 2027, to March 19, 2028.

The display at the King’s Gallery will include pieces linked to monarchs from Henry VIII to Elizabeth II and Queen Victoria.

The jewels span five centuries, from the 16th century to today.

About two-thirds will be shown publicly for the first time, alongside paintings, drawings and documents from royal collections and archives.

Some pieces include Queen Charlotte’s garnet set and a Fabergé pendant given to Elizabeth II by her grandmother, Queen Mary.

The exhibition will explore how the jewels reflect royal family life, politics, faith and loss.

The Crown Jewels are not included and will remain on display at the Tower of London; ticket sales are due to open in late October and early November 2026.
