The seventh China-Central and Eastern Europe SME forum opened on October 26 in Cangzhou, Hebei province, China.

The event brings together China and Central and Eastern European countries to support cooperation between small and medium-sized businesses.

The forum has been held six times since 2018, and this year's theme is “Cooperation in Both Directions, Sharing the Future.”

Alongside the opening session, eight events are planned for business matching and cooperation in areas including equipment manufacturing, clean energy and green chemicals.

A Chinese official said trade between China and Central and Eastern European countries had grown for ten consecutive years.

Croatia said it would continue constructive dialogue and promote cooperation, especially among small and medium-sized businesses.

The forum is intended to help participants share experience and develop practical business partnerships.
