FarmHannong signs workplace charity agreement in Seoul

FarmHannong signed a charity agreement with Seoul’s Community Chest of Korea on October 23.

FarmHannong is a subsidiary of LG Chem, and the agreement was announced on October 26.

Employees have voluntarily donated part of their pay each month to the company’s Green Bio Fund since June last year.

The fund began after a suggestion from FarmHannong’s employee council.

The company adds matching donations to the money employees give.

The agreement is part of the charity’s “Good Workplace” program, and FarmHannong says it aims to support rural communities and farmers.
