MIND ID and Indonesia’s anti-corruption agency to link complaint systems
Indonesia’s MIND ID has agreed to work with the country’s anti-corruption agency, the KPK, to strengthen oversight across its mining group.
The five-year agreement runs from 2026 to 2031.
It will connect OpenMIND, MIND ID’s internal complaint system, with the KPK’s system for handling reports of suspected corruption.
The linked systems are intended to help detect possible misconduct early and improve how reports are handled.
The KPK will also advise MIND ID on internal policies and complaint procedures, and the two organizations will coordinate and share information while protecting confidentiality.
This matters because MIND ID’s companies are pursuing mineral processing and other major projects, and the company says strong governance is needed to ensure mining is conducted with integrity.
The partners will regularly monitor and evaluate the work during the agreement to check whether the systems are effective and sustainable.
MIND ID and Indonesia’s Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will integrate their complaint systems under a cooperation agreement.
The integration will connect MIND ID’s OpenMIND internal complaint system with the KPK system for handling reports of suspected corruption.
