Four Palestinians reported killed in Israeli attacks across Gaza
Israeli attacks killed at least four Palestinians across Gaza on Thursday, according to Palestinian health officials.
The deaths were reported in Gaza City, Khan Younis, near Jabalia refugee camp in the north, and near Nuseirat in central Gaza.
The reports said attacks hit a vehicle and a bicycle, and that gunfire killed a person near Jabalia; accounts differed on the victim's age and whether the fourth person died of earlier injuries.
Israel said it targeted Hamas militants in Khan Younis, Nuseirat and Gaza City, but said it was unaware of the reported shooting near Jabalia.
The violence adds to strain on a U.S.-brokered cease-fire that took effect in October 2025, while Israel and Hamas accuse each other of breaking the agreement.
Palestinian authorities say 1,538 people have been killed in Israeli attacks since the cease-fire began, and Israel says Hamas has tried to rebuild its military capabilities; Hamas denies this.
Gaza hospitals reported that four Palestinians had died in Israeli attacks or from wounds sustained in an earlier strike over 24 hours.
The reported deaths were in Gaza City, Khan Younis, near the Jabalia refugee camp and near the Nuseirat refugee camp.
Reports differed on some details, including the Jabalia victim’s age and gender, and whether a fourth death followed a new attack or earlier injuries.
Israel’s military said it had targeted Hamas militants in several locations, but said it was unaware of or was checking reports of the Jabalia incident.
The attacks come amid dispute over the implementation of a cease-fire that took effect on October 10, 2025.
