South Korea’s Masked Singer returns in December as Golden Mask
MBC will bring back Masked Singer in December under the title Golden Mask.
The South Korean music show ended its first season in January after running for about 10 years, and is returning after an 11-month break.
Contestants compete while hiding their identities, using their voices and singing ability to win the title.
A newly formed panel will try to work out who the performers are.
The new season was first filmed in October at MBC’s Dream Center in Ilsan.
The show’s format has been remade in 53 countries, and its producers say the new season will take the form of a large music festival.
