Taiwan representative praises Ranveer Singh film Dhurandhar

Taiwan representative Mumin Chen praised Dhurandhar at the Taiwan Film Festival in New Delhi.

Chen said the Ranveer Singh film was the most impressive Indian film he watched last year.

He said his work as an ambassador and background in political science lead him to watch political films.

Dhurandhar follows an Indian spy in Pakistan as he infiltrates a gang to target a terror unit.

Chen also praised Aamir Khan as an actor and producer, especially for films about social issues, and said he liked Shah Rukh Khan.

The festival is showcasing Taiwanese films to introduce Indian audiences to Taiwan’s culture, technology and sporting achievements.

The films include documentaries and dramas.

The sources give no further festival plans or next steps.
