Sean Slater’s time in Brazil will lead to a major EastEnders storyline

Rob Kazinsky has returned as Sean Slater in the BBC soap EastEnders, after the character’s earlier departure to Brazil.

Sean is back in Walford to help find Amy Mitchell, who was manipulated into fleeing the country by Craig Ingram.

Sean confronted Craig outside a hospital, but Craig escaped with Amy; she later called Sean and then hit Craig, leaving him unconscious.

Kazinsky says events in Brazil and Sean’s reason for returning will be revealed in the coming story.

He says the new plot will explore something not previously shown in depth and could help people, but he has not explained what it is about.

The storyline is planned for the coming period, after Kazinsky and the show’s executive producer discussed what Sean would do next.
