Israeli strikes kill five in Gaza, including a seven-year-old girl
Israeli strikes killed five Palestinians in Gaza on Monday, according to medical sources and first responders.
Four people, including seven-year-old Jouri al-Soufi, were killed in strikes on or near camps for displaced people around Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
Another person was killed and three wounded in a strike in Gaza City's Rimal neighbourhood.
The reported deaths come during a ceasefire that began in October 2025, after a U.S.-brokered agreement.
The territory's health ministry says more than 1,500 people have been killed since the ceasefire began.
The wider war has killed more than 74,500 people, according to the ministry, and destroyed much of Gaza.
Israel's military said it was not aware of military activity in the area of one strike near Khan Younis.
