Super Mario Galactic Wonder is announced as a new Mario game

Nintendo has announced Super Mario Galactic Wonder, a new game in its long-running Mario series.

The available details describe colorful graphics, expansive worlds and creative levels, alongside familiar power-ups and challenging stages.

The game is presented as part of a wider effort to renew the Mario series while keeping its established style.

Some coverage calls it one of the best Mario games in years, but the supplied details do not give review scores or explain the basis for that assessment.

Mario games have drawn players across generations, and this new title is aimed at both longtime fans and newcomers.

Its mix of familiar features and new powers could help it appeal to both groups.

No release date or further launch details are provided, so when players can try it remains unclear.
