Raiders weigh quarterback change after fourth straight loss

The Las Vegas Raiders lost 35-21 to the Rams, their fourth defeat in a row.

After the game, coach Klint Kubiak said the team is considering every option to address its problems, including a possible quarterback change.

The question is whether rookie Fernando Mendoza could replace Kirk Cousins, the veteran currently leading the offense.

Mendoza was the first overall pick and the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, but has appeared briefly in only one game this season.

Cousins leads the NFL with 16 passing touchdowns, while the Raiders have also struggled to run the ball and have allowed at least 30 points in each of their four losses.

The Raiders play the Jets next, followed by games against the 49ers, Seahawks and Broncos.

Kubiak said the team will review the game film and discuss personnel and strategy before deciding how to respond.
