Hannah Klugman wins Wrexham Open for biggest title of her career

Hannah Klugman won the Wrexham Open in Wales, the biggest title of her career so far.

The 17-year-old Briton beat France’s Elsa Jacquemot 6-2, 6-4 in the final.

The W100 is a high-level tournament, and Klugman won the title without dropping a set all week.

She is the youngest Briton to win a singles trophy at W100 level or higher.

Klugman is the second British player in a row to win the Wrexham title, after Wales’ Mimi Xu last year.

Freya Christie and Eden Silva also won the doubles final for Britain, beating opponents from Japan and India.
