Mike Evans misses 49ers practice with Achilles soreness
49ers wide receiver Mike Evans missed practice Thursday with Achilles soreness.
Coach Kyle Shanahan described it as “just some Achilles soreness.”
Evans had previously played through injured ribs, and the Achilles issue adds to his injury concerns.
Several other 49ers also missed practice, including Nick Bosa, who has been out for three games with a calf injury, and Deebo Samuel, who has a hamstring injury.
Shanahan said injured reserve is a possibility for Samuel.
Christian Kirk, who is returning from injured reserve, had his 21-day practice window opened Thursday.
The practice absences leave the team monitoring several players’ availability, but no decision about Evans’s next game was given.
