Nicko McBrain recalls partying with Lionel Blair in London
Iron Maiden drummer Nicko McBrain describes a night out with Lionel Blair and Keith Moon in his new autobiography.
McBrain says they met at La Chasse, a nightclub in Soho, London.
He claims Blair used cocaine, which McBrain refers to by the slang term “disco dust.”
Blair was a dancer, choreographer and actor, and many viewers knew him as a captain on the charades-based television show Give Us A Clue.
Blair died in 2021, aged 92.
McBrain’s memoir also recounts how Ozzy Osbourne stopped him from falling overboard during a ferry crossing in 1975.
