Bus crash in Montseny injures 83, including seven seriously
A bus carrying Montseny park visitors fell about 20 metres down a slope in Fogars de Montclús, Catalonia, on Sunday.
Emergency services counted 83 people injured: seven seriously, 18 moderately and 58 slightly.
The bus was on the Sagalés route between Sant Celoni railway station and Santa Fe del Montseny, on a narrow, winding road.
The steep, unstable terrain made the rescue difficult, and some passengers climbed back to the road on their own.
Rescuers are checking for anyone missing, as officials said they could not rule out people being thrown clear of the bus or trapped beneath it; no deaths had been confirmed.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and the search was due to continue through the night.
