Sutopuri members Nanamori and Satomi announce they will leave the group

On Oct.

18, Nanamori and Satomi announced they will leave Sutopuri, a Japanese idol group.

The group has six members and began posting song covers and gaming videos in 2016.

Their announcements come at Sutopuri’s 10-year mark, as the group prepares to move into its next year.

Nanamori, the group’s leader and producer, said he had thought carefully about the decision and made it himself.

Satomi said he had been considering his place in the group since returning from a break in activities last year, and wanted to test his abilities on his own.

Both thanked the group and its fans for their time together and support.

Sutopuri has also released music, performed live and appeared on television, including at Japan’s NHK year-end music show in 2023.

No departure date or plans for the group after their exits were given.
