AU4 champion Jensen Marold to test with US Racing at Imola
Jensen Marold won the AU4 Championship after beating Marco Manson by six points in the final round at Queensland Raceway.
The Australian driver will travel to Italy with US Racing, a team founded by Ralf Schumacher and Gerhard Ungar, for the Italian F4 Championship finale at Mugello.
He is scheduled for a seat fitting and simulator training in early November, then a test at Imola on November 13 and 14.
US Racing has already secured the Italian F4 drivers’ and teams’ titles, with one round still to go.
The test gives Marold a chance to measure himself against European F4 drivers in a series known for producing drivers who later reach Formula 1.
The team has previously had drivers including Ollie Bearman, Luke Browning and Alex Dunne.
